Cancelled my account 10 days ago. As I said in a message to them I don’t expect my little account to make much difference but multiply that by 100s or 1000s and they might begin to feel that.
This ‘moral’ stance taken by financial bodies began some time ago and I first noticed it when my bank started virtual signalling about Ukraine. As I said to them, I do not want my financial institutions moralising and pushing their political views onto me - as long as a payment is legal it is not up to any institution to have any say on the matter.
I deleted my PayPal account today. As a former eBay Power Seller, this will inconvenience me some, but it is a stand that needs to be taken to remind companies not to abuse their power via viewpoint discrimination. I deleted Twitter the very day that they silenced a sitting President. Have not and will not go back.
Just deleted paypal today, yesterday deleted twitter. Deleted Netflix 6 mos ago. When companies make bad decision, it is time to stop supporting those companies. It really is that simple.
It's almost like the social media and new tech companies want to force people back to the old fashioned ways (remember how you used to pay for things? how you used to communicate with people? use mail order companies? use cash?).
They can't be following the instructions that people seem to think are out there about the New World Order because that won't happen if nobody uses the new technology!

I cancelled both personal and business accounts yesterday. Some people, I understand, have been unable to close their accounts.
Closed PayPal account the day the Free Speech Union was cancelled.
I deleted my account last week.
Never had interest....as the word "PayPal" reminded me of prison slang.

Done
I deleted PayPal when they deleted Tommy Robinson. It was obvious even back then that PayPal has a black agenda.
