Thank you for writing this, Thorsteinn. It is of paramount importance that we never let these fascist idiots "declare victory." The wisest guide to good governance is to start with acceptance of objective reality, something the lockdown totalitarians and WHO-worshippers never did and refuse to do now. There was NEVER any reason for the absurd mandates and persecution of intelligent, honest citizens who pointed out the stupidity.
Even today, I have colleagues in business who don't go so far as to tell me not to publish on this topic, but maybe I could just, y'know, kind of let it slide for awhile... I refuse to bow down to the ruling class's censorship and idiocy, all the more so because while I knew from statistics in March 2020 that the Swedes and Floridians were the only rational people left on the planet, with the clear benefit of objective hindsight, these clowns STILL refuse to acknowledge both reality and their own culpability for the massive evil visited upon the children who were within their political control.
Everyone who supported school closures, business lockdowns and never-before-seen "preemptive quarantine" of the entire population should be forever ashamed of themselves. Decent, honest, moral people who were involved and now realized the error of their ways should spent the entire rest of their lives trying to make up for the vast evil harm they caused and championed.

I wonder what the Facebook scolds who screamed, "Money money money! All you care about is money!" when some of us pointed out the predictable harms of locking down have to say now. Or the ones who called us teacher-killers when we argued that if the schools closed, it would likely be the more vulnerable grandmas and grandpas who would be watching the kids all day, since at that time (in my neck of the woods at least) Mom and Dad were still going to work.
Actually, I'm pretty sure I know what they would say: exactly the same things they said then. And I'll bet most of them still believe that half of Sweden is dead.

Excellent article. Thank goodness the world had ONE "placebo nation" so we could later do mortality comparisons. It's telling to see how hard the Status Quo crowd comes down on any group, nation or state that doesn't follow "the narrative."
But the problem is: as indicated by many similar surveys, most populations still think their governments were looking after them in issuing mandates on masks, lockdowns & inoculations. To think otherwise, in their unthinking minds, would be too difficult to accept - they don't want to acknowledge an ugly truth. And they can't accept that we are on our own - no-one is coming to save us.
....Reaching immunity was surely part of the Swedish strategy, and it has proven harder to reach than expected....
I was expecting Sweden to stay away from the US Department of Defense's gene therapies. The problem with herd immunity is related to leaky "vaccines" that Sweden administered to ~72% of its population.
After compromising the immune system of an entire population with injectable bioweapons, all countries that used MmRNA weapons can forget about herd immunity for Covid-19. The game is over as shown below in the US:
