Following Icelandic Covid cheerleader and CEO of Amgen subsidiary deCODE Genetics, Dr. Kári Stefánsson, publicly admitting to the harmful side-effects from the Covid-19 vaccines, and his subsequent attempts at backtracking, many have wondered what drove this chain of events.
Mr. Thorgeir Eyjólfsson, formerly manager of the country’s biggest pension fund and for decades one of the most influential figures in finance and banking in the country, now retired, describing himself as a “vaccinated grandfather” turned vaccine sceptic, immediately pointed out how courageous Dr. Stefánsson must have been to step forward with his statements, considering the ownership of his employer, US pharmaceutical Amgen, with Blackrock and Vanguard holding approximately a quarter of the shares in both AmGen and Pfizer.
