I was out today with my dogs and it hit me, my puppy is probably the only Non GMO vaxxed dog around.

I know 4 people very close to me each with different reactions to covid & the vaccination.
One is very elderly (90) so it was probably a good idea for her given her age, although she ended up in hospital for 3 or 4 days after each one because they made her so ill!
One who is 67 & was so petrified of catching covid she would have done anything. She ended up in hospital after the first shot with pulmonary embolism but didnt believe it was the vaccine & went on a few months later to have the second shot through absolute fear of catching covid & dying? So far she has survived that shot!
One is 70. He would just take any shots believing that the powers that be know best. In 18 months he has had 4 covid shots, 2 flu shots & a shingles vax. No reactions to any of them apart from having a covid infection after the 3rd shot. But strangely enough, this man won't take any tablets because you don't know what they will do to you!?
The fourth one is 28, didn't take the vaccine. He did all the in depth research right from the beginning, read across the board info., well what you could get at the time! Luckily he influenced me, which I am eternally grateful!
It is perhaps a collective “we” but the bigger mystery to me is how those of us who saw the scam from the beginning resisted all of that propaganda & fear. Of course there is common sense, rational & critical thought, suspicion esp of government / celebs / institutions but what made US the minority through all of this?? And for the sheeple, how they can continue to believe when evidence of damage & death is pouring out now & the banned are now allowed to speak free?
Very interesting article expressing pretty much my own views. The people who still believe covid is a killer disease are the ones who have only got access to the mainstream media. There are many many people with no real access to the internet so they get their information from the radio, TV or newspapers. They don't really question the veracity of that information and don't really have any way of cross-referencing it. Most of the people I know don't spend hours scouring the internet for alternate views. In the past they didn't go to reference libraries looking for research papers (they all thought I was odd because I did!). They don't even read the ingredients on the food they buy. So they were easy to scare witless and nothing has happened to change that because none of the research is being reported. When I tell people the jabs have side effects they are surprised. When I tell them masks don't work they don't believe me. Because their trusted information source says the opposite. You Substackers need to get on the BBC!!!!!
I still prefer not to couch the explanation in terms of 'mass formation', not because this interpretation is invalid but simply because it makes the stand-down harder to achieve. We are asking people to admit that they acted crazily - no small feat!
For me, the vital context is that once the media landscape could be skewed by the rhetoric of mis- and disinformation, it became possible to disrupt open scientific discourse. And people's faith in magical science is such that this amounted to hacking their very world. If only we could change the soil to increase critical thinking and doubt. But that's a pipe dream. How, exactly, do you change basic human nature? Sure, we can increase them marginally, among those who fall on the spectrum between those who always question and those who seldom do. And that's worth doing. But that still won't reach a critical mass. Humans are social animals who gravitate towards a hierarchical social structure of leaders and followers. Disrupters will always be outliers. Sorry, I wish it weren't so, but it is. The best human condition is when the common dogma is mostly benevolent, pushing people in the "right" direction. Christianity, for all its flaws, filled that bill and ushered in the best of human societies, with unusual levels of freedom, tolerance, and dignity. It's fall tracks with the rot we see around us. Great post! It is no doubt that the propaganda is very efficient when it comes to control the mind of the people. Its' truly mind-boggling that people are still blindly following the diktats of institutions that have lied to them over and over. However, I think the increased censorship can be seen as something "positive". The powers that be are clearly annoyed and perhaps a bit freaked out by the increased power of alternative media/Substack/new Twitter etc, otherwise they wouldn't feel the need to control the narrative so intensivly. Even ten years ago, mainstream media and the establishment were quite confident that no true amount of opposing views would "leak out" to the majority. Even though this majority still blindly follow CNN and BBC and the official public health authorities, they increasingly get their point of view challenged, either by some ongoing spill-over effect from the alternative media world, or simply by sending this article to a normie covidian relative. I don't think we can discard the fact that the censorship - from a psychological point of view - taps into the intense need of a coherent world view.

On top of this, this week it was discovered that the mayors campaign manager was grooming a 16 year old girl Calla by Patrick Horan when he was 27 and he is now working in the mayors office. On top of this, this spring several city councilors signed a statement from the DA's office stating a group of people who opposed mandates were white supremacists, but the group consisted of lgbtq, minorities of color, African Americans, Asians, Hispanic etc. and single mothers and immigrants. Meanwhile one of the city councilors Ricardo Arroyo was running for DA in Massachusetts, and he had lied to the Mass Bar Association about charges against him when he was in his early 20's and was charged with 2 sexual assaults of minors.
At this point I am looking at fascism on the rise and the covid panic was just the beginning.
In the USA each school that kept up the farce and masked the kids received ESSER money in the millions from the federal government. On top of this, the government put vaxx busses in front of schools and children's museums.
