In this new essay, Ramesh Thakur offers such a brilliant, pointed account of the immense moral failure underlying the Covid catastrophe, that I have no option but to share it with my readers.
"The ruling elites, when liberated from democratic accountability and media scrutiny, morphed seamlessly into morally cavalier and inhumane petty tyrants." That sentence alone perfectly sums up the behavior we have been subjected to for 3 years now. What more needs to be said.
This is excellent, thank you for sharing. My tragic conclusions indicate we are as a result of this facing possible extinction. High death rates, low fertility and live births indicate a severe genetic bottleneck going forward. Not only was this a massive long standing moral failure but perhaps a suicidal one. This is mass planned genocide.
Thanks Thorstein, I read everything by Ramesh Thakur that I can get. I read him at Brownstone Institute & the Spectator (Australia). He is a very wise man & his writing is accessible to all levels of society.
his #16 - "Suppression of sceptical and dissenting voices will lessen trust in public health officials, experts and institutions, and possibly also in scientists more generally;" should be changed to "_has lessened_ trust..."
what's so dreadful is that the people who read or heard the elite denigrating other view points from other scientists or commentators or politicians haven't heard that the truth is coming out. People I know still firmly believe they were told the truth about how covid would kill them, how mask wearing would protect others, how standing 6ft away from others would protect them, how the jabs would stop them dying/contracting/being hospitalised. They believe the fear, the lockdowns, the hysteria was all justified and necessary. They would do it again. They mostly haven't heard or read that they were misled and don't really want to know. Only we people in the sanity bubble have noticed that the truth is seeping out.
For those tolerant of Metal/Rock, Becoming the Archetype's "Artificial Immortality" (Album: Dichotomy - 2008) track could become a resistance anthem for the present generation...

A great share Thorsteinn, many thanks. It is a powerful summary of a risible period in British and world politics.
