The Huge Task Ahead
Most of those billions of people never talk to a crazy dissenter. And most of those who do, do not change their opinions despite being directed towards the actual facts.
Very shortly after the coronavirus started to spread around the world, there were already strong indications showing how the fatality rate was far lower than the 2-4% initially claimed, and study after study on seroprevalence only confirmed this, even the WHO had admitted to it in the fall of 2020. It was also clear how vast the difference in risk was for different age-groups.
Still, as late as early 2021 a friend told me how relieved he was not to have caught the deadly virus; for if he caught it there was a 2% probability he would die. A healthy man in his early fifties, well educated and doing a job that entailed dealing with statistics the whole day, he was surprised when I pointed out to him the CDC figures on risk by age-group, showing how small his own risk really was. He was even more surprised when I showed him data, from the same source, on how vastly different the infection fatality rate was from the case fatality rate at the time. Why did he believe in the 2% IFR figure? Simply because this was the mainstream narrative and if you looked no further you believed it.
This man is one of billions. There were two reasons he stopped believing the nonsense he had been indoctrinated with.
The first reason was that he spoke with one of the crazy dissenters, (yes, one of those who spread “misinformation”) and the crazy dissenter pointed out a few facts to him, some verified official data.
The second reason was that he was ready to change his opinion based on new data. He had swallowed the official narrative for sure, but his judgment was still intact, so he was able to change his opinion based on new facts.
Most of those billions of people never talk to a crazy dissenter. And most of those who do, don’t change their opinion despite being directed towards the actual facts.
Changing this is the huge task we have ahead of us.

I wonder if it has occurred to him that his risk of death from however many jabs he’s taken is a whole lot higher than his risk of death from WuFlu never was. You (& he) were lucky that he was willing to change his mind. I think many of the true believers that are still “boosting” either don’t want to or can’t face what they’ve done to themselves & in many cases, others. And/or absolutely refuse to believe anything outside he lame street media & St Faux-Xi. I’d be very angry but scared too if I felt like I was now a potentially ticking time bomb. Is he upset about what he knows now?
I am horrified by how gullible people in general are and how they can be manipulated by a coordinated campaign such as Covid jabs. How many years, no decades, of universal education have we enjoyed in the Western Sphere? As some wit put out "given that most of what so called conspiracy theorists, have said have turned out to be correct; should they not be the New Experts?
